Promised Resources

Thanks for connecting with some of my public facing work this year! This link will take you to everything I promised I would make available.

Greetings, I'm Geoff Whiteman, and I'm grateful you are here!

  • I've served in vocational ministry since 2000 and been helping ministers of the Gospel grow in missional resilience for over a decade.
  • I'm thankful our Lord Jesus Christ invites me to co-labor with Him as his beloved on behalf of his beloved by helping individuals, families, teams, and organizations grow in missional resilience and in supporting one another.

That's why I co-edited Essentials for People Care and Development: A Collection of Best Practices, Research, Reflections, and Strategies

  • Together with our 17 contributors, we wanted to offer the Global Church an updated resource for those who are convinced we cannot separate our devotion to the greatest commandment of love from our dedication to the great commission.

What happens at the end of our grit?

The truth is, we all want to know what we do when we get to the end of our grit.

  1. Whether you're guiding an organization or leading a team;
  2. Whether you're concerned about a colleague, family member, mentee, friend, or yourself.
  3. Whether you are just starting out or have been traveling the road of faith for a long time;
  4. Whether your sense of calling is crystal clear, or ambivalent, or beyond your reach;

Persevering with joy, matters deeply to each of us professionally and personally.

THE RESILIENT GLOBAL WORKER STUDY LISTENED:

  • to the experience and wisdom of nearly 900 Global Workers in Christ with an average of 15 years of experience.
  • What they shared transformed our understanding of how to persevere with joy.

As we apply the research, we keep discovering that missional resilience flourishes at the end of our grit.

  • Here we can receive Jesus' resilience, his resurrection life,
  • so we can join his mission in the world
  • as we turn toward God, others, and ourselves for loving support.

I am grateful for the privilege to share this journey of learning to live into missional resilience with you. Thank you.
